Moving from Overseas to New Zealand

you hold a valid New Zealand work permit or visa.

they have pre‑approval to offer employment conditional on your application and
approval from Immigration New Zealand for a work permit or visa.

residence visa, then you do not need a work permit or visa to work in New
Zealand.
